Dr. Tiller's funeral...

my daughter just called from NC- her boyfriend is a U.S. Marshall and just got word he's headed to Kansas for security detail for the funeral. I know it's his job, but I told her to thank him from all of us...

Susan Hill, president of the National Women's Health Organization, who appeared on Countdown with Keith Olbermann and the Rachel Maddow Show in the wake of Dr. Tiller's murder, said she didn't know if she would be able to attend Dr. Tiller's funeral, because of fears that another Operation Rescue psychopath might endanger her if she shows up.

She was really close to Dr. Tiller, and is forced to contemplate skipping his funeral because of threats of violence? Talk about fucked up!

2. Hopefully the knowledge that there will be U.S. Marshalls there will allow her to feel safe enough

to attend her friend's funeral.

5. the word is that the security

will be ultra tight. The boyfriend is going from NC (on his way today) and Marshalls are headed there from all over the U.S.
