Craig T. Nelson sums up the stupidity/disconnect of the right with one comment
Nelson was on Glenn Beck's show and gave a tirade about the government taking his money to pay for things he doesn't agree with. Then he made this statement: "They should be allowed to go bankrupt! What happened — we are a capitalistic society. OK, I go into business, I don't make it, I go bankrupt. They're not going to bail me out. I've been on food stamps and welfare. Anybody help me out? No. No.

*facepalm*

It was the moment of Zen on The Daily Show, and Colbert also ran with it.
