The look on his face was pure anger. If Baucus was in that studio he would have been on the way to the emergency room.

I keep rewinding the DVR and watch him punch his first and see the look in his eyes. If anyone else plans on watching the show it will be 34 minutes in.

13. I'm in control of my swearing because I do it with deliberation and aforethought
I don't swear at people ever. It's all usually a deliberate tossing in of some profanity confetti sprinkled willy nilly in long ranting tirades. It's kind of like an art project.

16. A good rant is a work of art!
I used to be both a sailor and a construction worker..I do try to keep a handle on my language around those of a finer character. At least I TRY.

3. well, what's worse than republicans obstructing healthcare reform?
democrats who have claimed to be for it, and have claimed to be representing us instead giving into their corporate sponsors. it pisses me off too.

6. Oh, Blue Dogs are for reform all right...
only they're in favor of the kind that ends up with more $$$ in their donors' pockets, not the kind that actually helps average people & this country in general.

9. you are right. it is so frustrating that our representatives aren't representing us
they are representing their corporate sponsors! it's not what is in our best interest, it is what is in the donor's interest. who was it who said they should wear uniforms with their sponsors on it like they do in nascar. i agree!

12. I just posted this on another thread on Evan Bayh:

Unhealthy association for Bayh
PRINT PAGE
EN ESPAÑOL

Editorial
Indianapolis Star
May 25, 2009

Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh’s vote could prove critical as Congress debates health-care reform later this year. Yet, Bayh has a clear personal interest in the financial stability of one of the key players in that debate — Indianapolis-based WellPoint, the nation’s largest commercial health insurer.

Bayh’s ties to WellPoint could hardly be more direct for a sitting senator. His wife, Susan, as a member of the company’s board of directors, earned compensation valued at $327,000 from WellPoint last year.

Both the senator and the insurance company deny that there’s a conflict of interest caused by Susan Bayh’s work as a director. A spokesman for the senator said that WellPoint is prohibited from communicating with Bayh’s office. Nor does Susan Bayh, according to the spokesman, discuss issues affecting WellPoint with her husband or his staff.

But WellPoint’s future — and thus a significant portion of the Bayhs’ income — could be at risk as the Obama administration and Congress attempt to reshape the nation’s health-care system.

15. One of the drawbacks of only being able to get
dishtv..is that during strong storms it goes out. I lost the signal about the time he was gettin wound up. On the other hand Dishtv also allows us to receive Link which carries European and Mideast news in English and a couple of channels out of China in English..what is most upsetting is that news from China seems more straight up and honest in comparison..but M$NBC/GE is starting to make some catch up.

On the other hand for what I pay for Dish I could not get the same deal or quality of picture from Time Warner our last cable co when we lived in town. Out here in the boonies there is no cable, no city water.
I m just about enraged as he is over the baucus bullshit.
I have said repeatedly we HAVE to get corpse lobbyist zombies out of our government period.

Campaign bribes unduly influence the congress critters that ostensibly work for us we pay their godam paychecks they get perquisites and health care paid for by our tax dollars, but lobbies BRIBE them to screw us.
When are we going to stand against this legal bribery?

I have been on about this before and will again. Yes I have written directly to my congressional representatives and senator..all I ever get is "I appreciate hearing your view.........
