Megan Fox is a red hot popular actress in hollywood. She is staring in the upcoming Summer blockbuster "Transformers." She recently did an interview with "Total Film UK." They asked her what she would say to Megatron. (Megatron is the robot who leads the bad guys in her movie.) Her response surprised me. Here is the transcript (question and answer) in full.

Not everyone in the South is like that.In fact y'all owe a debt to the south for inventing Rock and Roll. Lots of cool free thinkers, organic family farmers(http://www.tofga.org/) and musicians(Janis Joplin, Willie Nelson Butthole Surfers etc etc) come from the south.Hell I live in Bellmead (read North Waco) Texas and the grocery store parking lot is filled with Obama stickers

I was going to to rant on in righteous indignation because I'm a hillbilly from middle America, but quite frankly, she's just not worth my time.

They're the piss-poor uneducated folks ground down by plutocratic conservatives (the worst), who yet vote for the GOP based on "cultural" issues (viz. Thomas Frank's What's the Problem with Kansas?). These folks, suffering both from ill-education and a horrendous false consciousness (which of course go together), deserve some measure of solidarity, while rejecting their retrograde thinking -- although it's damnably hard trying to help people who treat you as the enemy! I hope that in time Ms. Fox will penetrate these ironies.

The cute didn't escape my notice, though she does look sorta pinched in that dress.

she will probably never be taken seriously as an actor the way Scarlett is.

also Megan has had a lot of plastic surgery done. she was already beautiful so that might say a lot about her cofidence.

We'll idolize her even though she's not smart enough to know that the people she described: "white trash, hillbilly, anti-gay, super bible-beating people" exist from Fornier, Maine to Chula Vista, California and from Blaine, Washington to Key West, Florida.

Talk about lowering the bar. Damn if it isn't like we grasp at straws sometimes to find some way to make a statement about how much we hate right-wingers. I'd prefer DU'ers just post "I hate right-wingers" over and over again instead of finding rich white kids who'll say it for us.

Whites aren't the only race with some trash in their ranks. As someone who works in downtown DC, I can say that the most racist people I know are a certain number of urban blacks - these particular few are the most vile, hateful, bigoted people I have ever seen.

I'd like to see the trash removed from ALL races, not just from the white race. To hear her tell it, whites are the only ones who have unwanted trash. Not true.

Meanwhile, in "liberal" and "diverse" California, a lot of non-white people helped pass Prop 8. And I'm sure they were beating their Bibles pretty hard while they did so.

Being a Democrat from Middle America--one of THOUSANDS--I find this woman's words to be every bit as ignorant as anything ever uttered on Fox Noise...or Free Republic, for that matter.

And, as much as I despise narrow-minded Republicans, wishing for them to be "taken out" is on a level with those who cheered over Dr. Tiller's murder.

Megan Fox needs to get past her own prejudiced uninformed stereotypes, before she criticizes other people's. Pot, meet kettle. :(
