What is the Congress working on and what should they be working on?
I know that the President wants to start on health-care and the stimulus bill, but is there something else that the Congress should be working on?

Could they be re-instating Glass-Steagall, for example? Or perhaps regulating the trading on Wall Street that manipulates the gas prices at the benefit of a few traders on Wall Street and the Big Oil companies? Or maybe investigating these latest emails from James Comey about the legality of the Bush/Cheney torture policies?

What should they be doing, in your opinion?

1. Based on C-SPAN, I think they are all doing Suduko puzzles and should be working on NYT crosswords.
I have the sound off, so I'm not completely sure.

2. Our CONgress (both parties) is owned by Wall Street Bankers...
Lock.. stock.. and barrel. Nothing benefiting middle class America is going to get through this CONgress or any other one.

The Big Corps are pleading their case ( at this moment) to Charlie Rangel (Dem-New York). I'll be shocked... shocked I tell you.. when the tax bill fails and the tax payers are left holding the bag. i.e. BOHICA.. (Bend over.. here it comes again)

(snip)“What Microsoft wants to do is deduct the cost at a high tax rate and report the profits at a low tax rate,” Bosworth said. “Relative to where they are now, the administration’s proposals are less favorable, so there will be some rebalancing on their part.”

Ballmer is one of 10 U.S. software company executives pushing back against the tax proposals in meetings today with White House officials including Jason Furman, deputy director of the National Economic Council, and the heads of congressional committees such as House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles Rangel, a New York Democrat.

3. Demanding an end to our foreign occupations
They were fairly adamant about it during the Bush* Cabal but nary a word now and the expenses just keep growing. End the "wars" and bring our troops home.....It should be a very top priority but seems to have been placed at the bottom of the pile..
