Clearly homosexuality is a threat to traditional marriage.

Look at Newt Gingrich. He has a gay sister. What else could have caused him to shit-can his first wife while she was hospitalized with cancer; cheat on his second wife at the very same time he was trying to impeach President Clinton for a consensual BJ; and who is now hooked up with spouse number 3? Damn you, Candace Gingrich!
And what about Rush Limbaugh? My gay brother (who has been with his partner for over 30 fucking years) once shared a flight from D.C. to NYC with Pigboy. Now Limbaugh has burned through three wives, and scores illegal boner pills for his all-guy vacations to a notorious child sex slavery destination. Damn you, bro, you weren't content with merely turning Limbaugh gay, you gave him the steaming undies for under-age Dominican boys as a bonus!
I guess I must be lucky. All I have suffered from growing up with the best brother a man could ever ask for is a desire to every now and then fuck the family pooch ... because you know that gay marriage inevitably leads to bestiality, polygamy (Damn, I just remembered that my wife has a hot sister!), and much more.
I'm telling you straight people, we're screwn!

1. The gay may have ruined marriage but my what it's done for ice cream!
Ben & Jerry's has a limited time flavor: Goodbye Yellow Brickle Road. A portion of the proceed go to Sir Elton John's AIDS Foundation. One word: fabulous.

5. that'd be my bet. they're scared that they'll feel compelled to leave their wife
and become gay... or at least give into those feeling they have been trying to hide for all these years.

6. Precisely, Exhibit A: Mark Foley ... Exhibit B: Ted Haggard; Exhibit C: ...
Larry Craig ... Exhibit D: Bob Allen (Perhaps not as well known, Allen was the chairman of the McCain for President operation in Florida who was popped for offering an undercover cop $20 to polish his knob.) ... Exhibit E: Glenn Murphy (Also possibly not as well known, Murphy was the National Chair of the Young Republicans who got another young Repug drunk, and when that individual woke up in the middle of the night he discovered Murphy performing a bit of mouth-to-penis resuscitation. After a complaint was filed, it was discovered that young Master Murphy had been charged with an identical offense in 1998.)
I could go on, but we would run out of bandwidth before I ran out of gay-bashing Republican hypocrites.

7. And just think of the damage 'they' will do to traditional divorce!
Once there is gay marriage, then married gay people will be divorcing each other. Before long, heterosexuals will be so discouraged that they won't even bother with divorces. Think of it -- the damage that will be done to the holy sacrament of divorce!!!
