Great poll by Ed Shultz

I won't do a poll on DU because it is obvious what the answer would be.

But his poll which I believe is a cell phone poll is who do you trust more with your health care? Insurance Companies or the Government?

Republicans don't think the government can run an effective health care system but they trust them with the military, post office, executing people.

1. too bad i don't do texting..... but i asked my hubby if he would like to see a

public option or single payer. and i told him about the insurance companies push to mandate buying into the system as it is. I'd say that public option MUST be there. Expanding medicare probably... but make sure it isn't an income thing... like child health plus is. Income should only be used to determine how much you pay into it.

I also find it funny how the republicans think government would get in between you and your doctor.... ummmm.... what do you think the insurance company is doing right now?? they do it every time you go to the doctor.

I'm not sure what their position is on the postal service, maybe a better example is they trust the government to conduct warrantless wiretapping or something like that.
