If John McCain had won the election...?
Where would we be today?

No doubt, one of the first things he would have done would have been to cut taxes. Would that have helped the economy? What would he have done about the banks and the economic collapse? What would he do about the present unemployment? What would he have said in Cairo?

The Republicans are great at criticizing everyone else. But when they get the chance to put their ideas into action, they screw up royally. Would 2010 and 2012 really be any different?

There are some Republicans that were out of office in the last eight years that criticize the policies of George W Bush, especially his fiscal policies. Would they have voted against their President if they had been in office at the time? It is highly doubtful.

But they criticize President Obama relentlessly. Everything would be much better if they were in charge, they hint. But most folks realize that President Obama is still trying to clean up their mess from the last eight years. Should the voters throw out the President and let the Republicans clean up their own mess? Would they be that foolish?

2. Was it Einstein that said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over
and expecting a different result. "Cut Taxes" and all will be rosy. Didn't work well the solution is to "cut taxes" and all will be fixed. Still didn't work well the ONLY solution is to "cut taxes" and that is assured to fix everything. Oh and if it doesn't it is all "Clinton's Fault"
