Jon Voight calls Obama "a false prophet"

and Newt proclaims he's "not a citizen of the world". At a repub fund raiser. I can believe that Newt is not of this world, but I am disappointed in Voight. It seems strange to me that artists, whether in fine art, music or acting can be rebubs. Okay, there's Ted Nugent and Jon Voight.

7. I don't care who actors vote for. I don't think much of their opinions on world affairs, either.

And that goes for those of either party. It's a tricky thing when they use their fame to color outside the lines, as it were.
I don't care about Kelsey Grammar's batshit views, either (though I still like FRASIER, because it's well done).

Very few can make the transition--Ronnie was one, Sonny Bono another, and that guy Gopher from the Love Boat. And let's not forget Ahhhhh-nuld. And of course, our guy Al "Seat Him, Already" Franken.

I don't think Jon Voight is running for anything--I think he's just in the early stages of dementia.

I will give his remarks the weight they deserve, which is to say, none at all.

So atypical of the grizzlies of his generation. We must hate an enemy. Might makes right. Gubmint is bad. Reagan is a saint. They're living in an era where their ideas are part of a shameful past that we need to put behind us, and they're having so much frustration dealing with that.
