Why is MSNBC pushing Scarborough book so constantly?
They hold up the little book with the large print as if it were War and Peace or a similar classic. The entire premise of the book is "How do we save the Republican Party's Ass?" I want to know, who gives a big shit!

I noticed that Chris Mathews had Scarborough on his show last night, talking about him running for President. Yes! President of the United States! It's unbelievable.

Of course, the Morning Joe has turned into nothing but an ad for Scarbucks coffee and Starborough's small book. They are going to lose their small audience very quickly unless they make some necessary changes.

2. Perhaps they hope it will take off and he will be too busy writing more to be on TV?

3. Because they do that for all their employees & associates. Look at
how often they've been pushing Richard Wolffe's "Renegade".

I mean, outside of the die-hard MSNBC devotees, who are just like the Faux defenders?

That (and bulk sales to groups) is all they need to make some bucks and declare it a success.

12. I was thinking about that yesterday
That it was annoying hearing the same tidbits about Wolfe's book on all the MSNBC shows. But Joe's really is worse, since he has his own show...I thought maybe they'd stop the "segment about Joe's book" thing on his own show after two weeks, but it's been much longer. And he plugs the book so many times in every three hour block.

5. Maybe...
Maybe it's some sort of deal he made in his contract negotiations to stay at MSNBC.

His last book was a flop. I think he was still on in primetime on MSNBC and they let him dedicated an entire hour show to it.

6. When are people going to learn? MSNBC and Faux are all about entertainment
and whipping up their audience into a frenzy (to create talk), and all of this is aimed at self-promotion and selling ad time and products (their books).

Why do people see these channels as anything more than that?

Suckers.

7. I only see the show when I fall asleep with the bedroom TV on...
and wake up to some crazy republican rant. Yesterday they had a "debate" between Joe and a republican...WTF? The "debate" was all about Joe's book but everyone agreed that it was a work of genius.

I almost fell out of bed trying to find the remote.

No one else in the entire world is talking about this book except MSNBC.

9. The trend is:
They are using the "EXPERTS" they already have on staff, for content. Both Fox, and MSNBC have seemed to do a interlocking directorate, or price fixing type of collusion. They are now seeming to do a sort of PROFESSORIAL publish or perish. MSNBC wants a native son to advance. Naturally. The bad trend os the not so subtle threat to do something to change the landscape, or you are fired. That leads us directly to Glenn Beck. He was about washed up. Then, Fox gave him ONE shot. Make big waves or you are finished. He came up- with his twitchy, sissyboy, yale cheerleader naive baffoon chicken little of communism coming, when they arent doing fascism. I guess they are communists on even workdays, and fascists the rest of the time. Now we are treated to conservative JOE. We have been treated to NONSTOP handwringing for the demise of conservatism writ small, and Republicans writ large. NOW, we know why. Joe had a coming book and defunct party to rule. Think MSNBC is liberal? They are money grubbers. Like all media. Liberal was an underutilized niche, when they found it. The Joe show might prove to be the most effective antidote against the looney republican droolfest that is "the present opposition".

10. I think Scarborough thinks he looks like "John Wayne" and figures he can dupe the
public into voting for him on his "let the States decide" thing and star appeal. It is a frightening prospect as he can speak having been in front of the camera. Totally Reagan appeal that way. Keep on eye on him for sure.... he is trouble. Incompetence at it's max.

14. Maybe he'll actually declare and pull a Buchanan ......
If he's a candidate, he can't have his own show.

Then maybe we can get Lawrence O'Donnell on the show and deprogram that moron, Mika.
