The kid thought it was a re-enactment.

:scared:

Heritage indeed!

the Holocaust Museum?

Gee, I wonder what made the guards stop him at the door? Could it have been....the confederate hat???

11. reading the OP where it says "MSNBC" is even quicker.
Also, posting a link not that doesn't mention the subject of the OP seems like a waste of time - now run along.

And my links go directly to webpages covering the story.

How very immature you are.

I edited it to clarify "The museum shooter"

Now go away, DU cop.

23. Look at the time stamp.
I edited it at 2:28 to include "The museum shooter" in response to a request for clarification

again and FINALLY again at 2:29 to put quotes around "Confederate hat" in response to another inquiry and to show it wasn't MY term.

That was the last edit - at 2:29

At 2:33 you decided to be snarky and ask which station and post a link to CNN and MSNBC.

Now tell me how I went back in time and added the station (even though it was in the OP).

I'll wait for your apology but I won't hold my breath.

Go away.

27. Yeah--that's why you misplaced the COMMA after Museum shooter
because you added the MSNBC bit to it in a hurry, and didn't bother with proper placement.

It took me a few minutes to GET those CNN and MSNBC links--during which time, you edited.

Nice try, no cigar. I won't apologize to you, because you're not being honest, AND you are rude.

If you don't like me, YOU can leave. Telling people to "go away" is just another example of your childish rudeness. Keep rackin' em up, Fluffy! This insight into your character is quite "special."

31. A term of expression. If you literally think someone can make a post on DU in "two seconds"
then there's something terribly wrong with your reasoning ability.

I won't comment further on that. I'll let your remarks speak for themselves.

 indeed. Keep on delivering the goods--the picture you paint of yourself is something to behold.

Is it overcoat weather in D.C.? I wonder if it was for concealment only ... or part of an "outfit"?

from Holten-Richmond Middle School in Danvers, MA and from Swampscott MA Middle School inside the Museum when the shooting took place.

I guess they have just had a learning experience they will never forget, eh?

29. Not the first around here.
A year or two ago, I saw a tourist wearing a confederate uniform here in DC. Worse, he had his two little boys dressed up, too - poor kids. Though if he wanted authenticity, he should have lost some blubber.

42. That's also one of the many things that annoy me about confederate reenactors...
very few of them look like they have been surviving on tree bark and ground squirrels.
Despite all of their talk about heritage and authenticity, apparently they like to believe there was a Shoney's breakfast buffet back in the day

43. I assume it is because the detectors and the guards need to be inside.
Either way, if they were outside, the guy would have shot up the line leading in.

Did you see the place? The cement posts surrounding the building make it look like a fortress.

Hey freepers! Those cement post are there for YOU! Domestic terrorists.

45. The shooting occured inside building, outside of metal detectors
The shooter double parked his car outside the front of the museum, then made a beeline for the front door where he started "shooting indiscriminately". He shot the guard, presumably one of the guards assigned to the front door before you get to the metal detectors. Another guard then shot Von Brunn in the head.

This all seems to have happened just inside the building in front of the metal detectors.
