CNN reporting the guard has died
Coming in from numerous sources. My heart grieves and goes out to his family.

3. Neither the guard nor the assassin was going to survive
They used the word gravely injured which suggested that they were already dead.
I'm sure they were trying to contact the poor guard's family. Too sad. Any bets he's black.
The assassin was shot in the head.

4. Thoughts go out to the family
He went out a hero though. Not many people are remembered long after they die, this guard deserves to be remembered for helping to save the lives of many innocent civilians.

5. Sad... Was the guard a Park Ranger or a private security guard?
Not that it makes it any better or worse. I'm just wondering.

8. Another innocent human murdered by RW terror
Edited on Wed Jun-10-09 03:12 PM by get the red out
How much of this do we accept and keep saying "isolated incident"? This person did not deserve to go to work and have a terrorist kill him today. His family didn't deserve this.

These murderous people have been showing their asses in public view since the election (anyone recall the people yelling "kill him" at the Palin rallies?), when do we put two and two together in the mainstream media and call it like it is?

We ARE currently under attack from terrorists, and they are not Muslim. Scape-goating people from other cultures doesn't keep us safe, telling the honest truth about some of these home-grown terror groups might.
