So, if we don't get an open-access robust public health option, does that mean Nader was right?

I've never been a fan of Nader or the Nader movement. I've never quite bought into the notion that "the two parties are the same".

Honestly, my politics are more close to Kucinich than Obama. However, I still like Obama and support him.

But I'm thinking, w/ a Dem President who is wildly popular and persuasive and overwhelming majorities in the legislature, we ought to be able to pass and sign a truly Democratic health care bill.

So, if we get a lousy health care bill with no public option or a corrupted public-in-name-only option, doesn't that essentially prove Nader was right all along?

1. I agree, it would prove him right
I have never liked (or voted for) Nader, but not all of his ideas are wrong.

2. Right about what, specifically?
Give your question some context; what did Nader say about health care?

6. I had to google around to see what he's had to say
about corporations, duopoly, and health care. Ironically, while some DUers have repeatedly called me a "Naderite," I've paid scant attention to him over the years.

Was he right? YES.

4. What Nader should have said is that many representatives of both parties

are the same -- they've sold out to corporate interests.

The two parties are not the same... on paper, at least.
