The difference between the left and the right

When the left gets angry about an issue or issues, the result is massive protests, marches, and boycotts.

When the right gets angry about an issue or issues, people die.

That's the bottom line.

And that's why we have the high moral ground.

2. At least they're ascribing some intelligence to us liberals.
When I think of FR, I get this stuck in my mind's eye:

It sure does a lot to explain the spelling errors - it's hard enough to type with my fat fingers let alone a leg-bone.

Props where they're due and all that. Then again, we ought to issue a fatwah against whoever showed them how to turn on a PC in the first place - pretty sure his name is Hugh G. Moran, but that's just what I've heard.

7. Egocentrism?
I have family/friends that are on the right, and they still talk/act like we are irrelevant. They say this nation was built on their beliefs.

Suddenly, everything is royally screwed up because of us. Some didn't like Bush in the end, but they still shun us even more.

4. Dude. I believe there are differences between the much of the left and the right (and
won't let my RW friend get off now by saying all politicians and pundits are the same). One of the differences is that RW pundits and shills use polarization, simplification, and fear more than the left. No doubt. I hope we don't do the same. We need less polarization and distillation of complex issues into bottom lines, not more.

6. Yep. Bottom line for sure. That, and they honestly feel superior to others- in every way.
I've been to plenty of protests/marches in the last decade. Never once heard threats of violence against the right.

9. Umm, the left has had its own terrorists
People like the Weathermen, the SLA, even the Unibomber. Lethal force isn't limited to one end of the political spectrum.
