AMY GOODMAN: Dr. Hern—
DR. WARREN HERN: And they announced this hit list, and I was put under federal protection, along with Dr. Tiller, who was also on this list. The Republican Congress removed the appropriations for this, pulled the money support for this whole thing. The federal protection was dropped.
Dr. Tiller and other at-risk Ob-Gyns on the extremists hit list were being protected but that protection was dropped because of Republicans.
FURTHERMORE,
The Kansas Attorney General was guilty of harassing Dr. Tiller and went on a fishing expedition through Dr. Tiller's patient files.
FURTHERMORE,
Scott Roeder was released from jail after being found with explosives in his car. He was pulled over for having no license plates, license or insurance. His conviction was overturned for unreasonable search.
