Good!

Tax 'em even more. They got rich BECAUSE of this country and its economy and its citizens. Let 'em pay back for some of that.

3. My wife got a chain mail about this today

Talking about socialism starting out this way, taxation, socialized medicine, etc.

She forward it to me and I told her that by now she should realize that the bullshit she gets in her inbox for conservative friends and family is just that - bullshit. Too easy to debunk.

4. the problem is, these folks have an identity crisis. somehow they think that THEY

are the 'rich' folks. Even though they live paycheck to paycheck like the rest of us and basically have used credit to look like they have things.... they somehow think that someone is going to tax them, when in fact, obama is trying to tax the rich employers of these folks who pay them crap and expect them to kiss their feet for it. The rich corporations are good at making it seem that obama must mean the workers somehow.

6. It goes even lower down the socioeconomic scale than even *that*

There are people just above the poverty level, living in hovels, with a mindset that causes them to side with the right wing and the rich.

I find it inexplicable.
