Von Brunn’s friend: ‘The responsible white separatist community condemns this’ ‘it makes us bad"

The Washington Post reports today on the history of hate of James von Brunn, the reported shooter at the Holocaust Museum. An acquaintance of von Brunn’s, John de Nugent, “who describes himself as a white separatist,” told the Post that von Brunn had been paranoid recently that “someone in Washington” cut his Social Security after “looking at his Web site.” De Nugent also tried to distance von Brunn from what he deemed “the responsible white separatist community”:

De Nugent called von Brunn a genius but described the shooting as the act of “a loner and a hothead.”

“The responsible white separatist community condemns this,” he said. “It makes us look bad.”

Brunn is not atypical. These people honestly believe there needs to be a "race war". That is in fact the core pshilosophy of even the, ahem, "responsible white separatists" - they want to commandeer territory against the wishes of whoever the locals may be, drive out hte "mud people" and then engage in muder, tyranny, and warfare against all those outside their enclave.

ironically they're like Anglo-Saxon version of Zionists. Hell, right down to the hatred of Jews.

in my area of Southwest PA. I'm going to remember this jerk's name. Sarver is NE of Pittsburgh in Butler County.

"I became concerned because his e-mails were getting more and more violent in tone. We whites, or we white separatists, we're going to be rounded up and killed by Jews in the federal government. This is a widespread feeling in the white separatist community," said John de Nugent, a Rhode Island native who moved to Sarver in February 2008 where he hopes to lead a movement to create a "white safety zone" in a four-state area including Pittsburgh.

Today, Mr. de Nugent, who ran a symbolic write-in campaign for president in 2008 and is planning to launch his own white separatist movement in the coming weeks, said yesterday's attack could be a harbinger of deepening anger among a subset of whites convinced the United States is being taken over by a Jewish-led cabal and a black president they believe wants to seize their weapons and end their rights of free expression.

"James von Brunn is significant because he is somebody who simply acted on his belief," Mr. de Nugent said. "But I think there are millions of white people who are trending in this direction. If I were to advocate the violent overthrow of the country I think hundreds of people would join me right now. I am not advocating that."

then he says "everyone is doing it"
then he says "IF I were to advocate..." and then tries to inflate his influence and power
and THEN he says "oh no but I am not doing that"
