1. What is the difference between a conservative and republican extremist in today's environment?
It used to be that conservatives were more responsible, and while firm about their views, usually were more civilized than today's breed. Now, they are violent, hateful, rude and dangerous. Add their latest stockpiling of weapons and it is getting scary. Where are conservatives against the republican extremists?

2. "for them" when they were in control and the most left wing bit of extremism was
cindy sheehan camping out in TX. "against them" when they fell out of favor, the true nature of their base became clear, and it was finally proven that the fallen emperor had no clothes to begin with.

by the way, the most severe wingnuts are trying to associate rev. Wright and the "ultra left wing" in all this.
