6. I hear the "Cozy Coupe" company is teetering on bankruptcy, seeking a bailout.
Shows that even a car getting zero gpm can't necessarily survive these hard times.

11. I totally made it up.
Right on the spot, when I read the OP.

This response provided for the sarcastically challenged.

3. They haven't changed the body style since my kids had one 18 years ago.
They were probably made in China even back then. And yes, they reaked of that new hard-plastic toxin smell. But alas, it was a different time. I wouldn't consider buying such an anti-environmental, toxin-spewing POS today. See...we can evolve.

15. Hate to point this out, but you may want to look at what your Prius is made of.
And besides our Little Tykes car has been passed on to it's third set of kids - and still peddling strong...

17. I wouldn't drive a Prius if you paid me.
I'd sooner foot-kick it around town in a Cozy Coupe.

BTW, we also "recycled" our Cozy Coupe to another family. It's probably still going strong somewhere in Suburbia.

7. Cozy Coupe is a gateway car. Our kids graduated to the Power Wheels Jeep.
It was pretty awesome, I gotta admit. I always wished I could climb into that little plastic seat next them and off-road it around the back yard.

8. Car & Driver panned it this year
Although we were pleased the classic lines have been preserved, the 2009 model was an overall disappointment.

The newly designed squeak horn was far below Little Tyke's usual standards, sounding more like a baby's toy rabbit rather than the robust squawk we've all come to know and love.

And on the suspension side, the wire axles have been reduced in diameter from 1/4" to 3/16". Why? We asked the company, but only got a vague and confusing answer about unsprung wheel weight.

Things we did like: A new, more aerodynamic fake gas cap and vastly improved headlight decals.

All in all, a disappointment, especially in light of last years groundbreaking steering wheel re-design.

9. Nope, built in the USA.
I do think some of the parts are imported, though.
