4. I think it's quite the opposite
There is talk of a coup by the opposition. Cell phones are not necessary, either. The first revolution went off just fine without them. I wish I were there helping.

6. If the Iranians believe the election was bogus,
they will be seething over it for a long time, especially the young people. Mahmoud (mok-mud) is just a puppet for the clerics and the Ayatollah. His rival would have been too. Putting some kind of positive spin on it, maybe the young Iranians will continue their dissent with more fervor since Mahmoud won a rigged election. Then, maybe they will (dreaming) overthrow the clerics someday and have true democracy. Probably not, but it's something to hope for on their behalf.
