Amanda Knox tells of Meredith Kercher’s ‘yucky’ death (Italy)
Source: Sunday Times

AMANDA KNOX yesterday startled the Italian court trying her for the murder of Meredith Kercher by saying the English student's death was “yucky, disgusting” and comparing it to crimes in CSI, the popular US television series.

<snip>

Kercher, an exchange student from Coulsdon, Surrey, died on the night of November 1, 2007, at the house she shared with Knox in Perugia, central Italy.

Knox and her Italian ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, 25, are accused of sexually abusing and stabbing Kercher to death after she refused to take part in a perverted sex game.

Rudy Guede, an Ivory Coast drifter, has already been sentenced to 30 years in jail for Kercher’s murder. He has testified that he saw Knox and Sollecito at the scene of the crime.

3. Smear? She was there, she was interviewed more than once,
she admitted to being high when questioned, she called the murder 'yucky'. The chick is seriously f-up.

5. Oh please, the "confession" was coerced out of her by a cop that battered her
And in a series of words describing what seeing her roommates' murdered body one of those words was yucky. Jesus this is like Bush and Cheneys justifications to 9/11 and the use torture. No solid evidence so you use hearsay and personal attacks to get unjustified means. Listen the British media decided a long time ago she was guilty just because of misplaced discrimination against "ugly americans" they still felt over Bush years.

4. Guilty or not
this girl needs to be put away in some kind of cell for her own good. Her mind is seriously all over the place.

8. I was a bit too harsh with the cell comment
But she's definitely been affected by the murder - she couldn't remember where she was, then she could, she named a guy who had nothing to do with it as a suspect, then recanted, and she's gone from being hysterical one day to cool and calm the next. Let's assume she's innocent - seeing a friend's bloody corpse and being in jail for months is enough to traumatise anyone, so that would definitely explain the odd behaviour. What I'm saying is she could do with some help.

10. Will the first "confession" was coerced out of her through physical abuse and police intimidation
The rest you said about all the other trauma going on around her is true and she probably will need a life time of therapy and anti-psycotics to deal with it.

9. This thread is tabloid nonsense, people... not up to DU standards.
I'm really disappointed at the odd distraction threads in here.
