5. In 1996, Bob Dole said we had the "best health care in the world."

Sure, Bob, if you've got a limousine to take you to Bethesda at the first sign of sniffles...

11. Didn't he also say "tobacco is as safe as milk" around that same time?
Of course given all the growth hormones, antibiotics, and other shit in milk these days, he might have a point, whether he meant to or not.

8. I believe we do have the best healthcare in the world.
And, if you want it for free, you're gonna get what you pay for.

9. Well you can believe in one hand, and shit in the other. Check back with me tommorrow
No health care system is free. There are some funded progressively through taxation, which do not require copays, deductibles, deny claims, and provide service for everyone, no questions asked. And although its not free, those such systems can cost up to half as much per capita as what the US spends. You already pay more than enough for a system like this, but you just don't get it.

6. Which system is that? The one in France?
Well, we know that the mediocre health care system in the U.S. serves the ends of money, not people. But I suspect that the best in the world, and many of the others better than that of the U.S., primarily serve the needs of people.

7. Congresspersons
Not that we mere mortals have any chance of getting that, although I guess we can dream.
