Abortion, cancer, race, bigotry, rape, holocaust, dead puppies... All very funny.
Everything is funny.

Teenage pregnancy, too. It's all about the context.

But when you come across as targeting people who have done no harm, somebody will be offended.

There's nothing wrong with offending people, mind you, but if you can't explain or otherwise communicate why you offended, you're fucked.

David Letterman's aim was a little off, but people generally understand that he wasn't really aiming for some of the targets he hit.

Everything is going to be okay.
