Lindsey Graham just talked to the President about the photos

Lyndsey Graham just announced in a Senate Committee meeting (12:50 pm, 6/17) that he just got off the phone with the President who he reports said "the photos will never see the light of day" concerning the photos of abused of detainees.

Isn't that comforting?

5. I just saw it live on C-Span at the time indicated

The statement was made as Graham was interrogating Eric Holder, he was telling this to Holder in anticipation of eliciting an answer he wanted to his next question.

12. This is not a matter of being right - this was a quote from him

So it may have been a lie - maybe he did not talk to the President and maybe the President didn't say any such thing, but if that's true then Graham has lied on the record in Congressional testimony and that is no little thing.

GOP will now be "allowing" Dem legislative agenda. No filibuster threat. No wranging.

The deal was made.

I think this is crap. I wanted to see Republicans behind bars for war crimes.

But I want ENDA, and Marriage rights. If I was Obama I would double cross the criminals.

Release the photos anyway after we get SCOTUS picks, T inclusive ENDA, Repel DOMA and DODT.
