Poll question: Obama should extend Medicare to 57 and over . . . NOW --
Should Obama do what Pres. Clinton wanted to do ...

extend Medicare to those 57 and over? Immediately.

1. Too many of us have accumulated at least one
pre existing condition by the age of 45.

I lost any hope of insurance at 40.

A public option is absolutely vital. Even if insurance companies are forced to write policies for us, you know they'll refuse to pay if we get sicker.

They already are.

8. Yup.. in the same boat.
I love how the right talks about how government would get between me and my doctor. Right now I'd like to just have a doctor for someone to get between. Sick people can't get health care. Is this a great country or what.

2. If he can. I also would like to see him consolidate government programs
into one which would begin saving money.

3. The legislation is being written in the House & Senate
right now. If you want that, you need to contact somebody in Congress.

6. That's not what you posted
Do you really want Medicare expanded to everyone 57 or older - or are just posting stuff for kicks.

What I'm saying is should Obama IMMEDIATELY expand Medicare to 57 and older . . . ????

In other words, do at least what Clinton was trying to do --

and then AS SOON AS POSSIBLE EXPAND IT TO MEDICARE FOR ALL --

These would be immediate stepping stones to MEDICARE FOR ALL --

Kinda . . . we're all getting off the Titanic -- who goes first?

I'm disappointed, however, no one has said kids first ....

10. They already expanded SCHIP for kids first
Again, they're writing the legislation in the House and the Senate.

You do understand Obama can't wave a magic wand and do whatever he wants, right?

13. I thought that was true . . . until I watched Bushco wave many a magic wand . . .!!!
Clinton was trying to do it to 57 -- I don't recall all the action surrounding
that at the time.

But a very popular move with the public, of course!

12. Obama should extend Medicare to everyone, then he needs to make it
comprehensive. Fuck the bloodsuckers who make money from denying health care to those who can't afford it.
