Is intolerance of intolerance to be fought or applauded?
The fundies seem to be telling us that telling them they are intolerant is being unfair and intolerant toward their views

2. Here's a subquestion...
How do we, as liberals, square our views on tolerance and pluralism with the fact that some countries have horrendous human rights recodrs. Do we let them do what they do because its part of their culture and who are we to judge; or do we call them out and push for behavior change?

3. Applauded---loudly!
In any contest between tolerance and intolerance, if both sides are totally true to their beliefs, tolerance loses---every time.

Where one side will deliberately allow the other to exist and one side consistently seizes each and every opportunity to destroy the other, the "nice" guys lose.

So, in being intolerant of intolerance, we are actually preserving and promoting tolerance.

As an aside, the fundies should be stepped on every time the opportunity presents itself. They personify intolerance.
