Freeper thread of the day: Whale Wars / Right to Life Wars - why are they viewed so differently?
Recently I watched a show on the Discovery channel – called “Whale Wars”. The show documents the fight of the Sea Sheppard’s aboard the S.S. Steve Irwin (Glorious) against the Chinese Whale Hunters. The Sea Sheppard’s will stop at nothing to stop the senseless killing of the whales. Some of the heroic actions include ramming the S.S. Steve Irwin into the side of the Chinese vessels, throwing chemicals onto the deck, helicopter fly-bys, etc… As I watched the show that depicted the Sea Sheppard’s as heroes for fighting against the whale murdering Chinese – I wondered why the individuals that fight against the senseless murdering of thousands of unborn babies are viewed so differently.

Count the errors in the paragraph. I see at least four.

5. "Sheppard" is actually error #1, but with Freepers, why count anyway.
:P

I just read that thread of absolute ignorance over there. Difference between "direct action" by folks in either camp only begins with SSCS never having even hurt a single person. How many people has the other side killed intentionally?

7. If you're taking it in order, "Discovery" is error #1
The show is on Animal Planet, at least in my neck of the woods.

6. You are absolutely correct!
What wild life we don't crowd out to extinction by our 'civilization', we go out of our way to kill off for sport.
Mean while our numbers are edging up to 7 billion. The Karma, when it happens, will be terrible to behold.

8. Ain't it amazin'
Ain't it amazin' how the anti-choice crowd can turn an subject into an 'anti-abortion' question. Logic like this "Let's see the Red Sox had the bases loaded but the guy at bat struck out so they lost. Well I bet if we weren't killing all those unborn babies they could have had a better batter to put in his position. Heck maybe they would have had the next Babe Ruth or Willie Mays".
