I sent my Congressman an e-mail asking him to support Healthcare Reform!

Let your representative know what YOU want. I just sent my Congressman and Democratic Senator an e-mail about healthcare. It was something like this:

Dear Congressman Cleaver,

Please help President Obama enact Healthcare Reform. After 8 years of allowing the republicans to waste trillions of dollars killing Iraqis, maybe would could spend money making it easier for working Americans to obtain affordable healthcare that does more than take their premiums and deny their healthcare claims!

Blah, blah, blah............Then,

Now is OUR time. It is time to invest money in the future health of America and Americans. I don't care if healthcare reform with the public option will cause my taxes to go up. I would consider higher taxes for the provision and implementation of healthcare reform with the public option as money well-spent. I'd much rather my tax dollars be spent providing healthcare with the public option for us Americans than to be spent building more bombs or subsidizing the oil industry, or rewarding the financial industry for fleecing Americans.

I will not be able to vote for you or support you in your effort to be re-elected if you do not support President Obama's healthcare reform efforts. I would never, ever, ever vote for a republican, but I also will not vote for any DINO that does not get behind healthcare reform with the public option.

Please, Congressman, "GET ON THE OBAMA BUS" and support healthcare reform with the public option. Support this President as vocally and as vigorously as I'm sure you would have supported Hillary Clinton, if she had been elected.
