The Iran Situation: If Only BUSH Were Still President!!!!
Edited on Tue Jun-23-09 06:18 PM by BLUSH

Obama needs a "Bring 'Em On!" moment!

A "Smoke 'Em Out!" taunt!

A "Wanted Dead Or Alive!" challenge!

Enough of this sober-rattling!

;-)

1. For all the rethug "outrage", Bush would not have done a damned thing either
Bush probably would have made a statement about the actions in Iran, and that's it. Which is exactly what Obama has done. What more do those friggin morons expect? Do they really think that Obama's going to launch war against Iran? I'm sure they'd love that, those chickenhawk bastards, not even Bush took military action against Iran - despite chickenhawks urging him to do so.

3. Wrong
Bush would have put on his cowboy boots and hat, gone down to Crawford for a two-week vacation, and there, while cutting brush, issued a statement calling for a crusade against these Irano-terrorist evildoers. He would have given the Iranian regime one of those "either yur gainst us or wid us, my way or highway, dead or alive" ultimatums. None of this Obamian cautious deliberation, long-term strategerizing.

4. It's easy to find Bush if you have a "smirk detector"
Where there's smirk, there's liar!

5. Obama is just too timid!
GOP calls Obama timid as he seeks footing on Iran

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama stuck to his carefully tailored response to Iran's internal crisis Sunday despite pressure from Republican critics, as he continued to speak up for protesters' rights without making specific demands on Iran's hard-line leaders.

"The last thing that I want to do is to have the United States be a foil for those forces inside Iran who would love nothing better than to make this an argument about the United States," Obama said in an interview released Sunday. "We shouldn't be playing into that."

"The president of the United States is supposed to lead the free world, not follow it," said Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C. "He's been timid and passive more than I would like."
