What's the point of saying, YES WE CAN! If at some point we can't say, Yes we DID! If Republicans say, they didn't look at all the angles. We can honestly say, Yes we DID! I defy you to keep Democrats from exploring every possible angle. We are just too diverse of a party not to.

Strategically speaking. It is far better for Democrats to attack our own forts to find the weaknesses so we can fortify them. Than it is for the Republicans to attack our forts and exploit the weaknesses they find. Isn't that exactly what we did to the Republicans? Attacked their forts and exploited their weaknesses. Isn't that exactly how we got here? Why shouldn't that be how we stay here on top of things? This is what will allow Democrats to present that durable perfectly polished product to the public.

Plenty of politicians manage to keep their affairs from interfering with their duties; he could have easily come up with an excuse to leave for a few days, but instead he disappeared without a word. Lately Obama seems to care more about corporations helping them with bail-outs while the average American gets no help with their mortgage problems, he seems happier to have his homophobic preachers happy instead of working for equality ("fierce advocate") for all, including GLBTs, he appears to want to help the insurance industry instead of working hard to get single-payer, etc. Meanwhile, he still hasn't ended wars, GOP war criminals are still not being prosecuted, he protected the telecoms with FISA ... shall I continue?

He needs to stop this "partisan" bs, helping only corporations and stop throwing under the bus the people who voted for him. Once he does this, then Obama will no longer have us "kick the crap" out of him.

At the present time, the republiCons are not our biggest foe. Turn coat bastard Democrats are. To try to make out that all Democrats are good and undeserving of criticism is unthinkable for liberals.

The goal isn't to get everyone under the big D tent, but to get those that support the middle class in control of Congress. We are a long, long way from that. And to do that we need to figure out how to fight the Democratic machine that supports corporations at the expense of the middle class.

You can't stop liberals from "fighting" one another, it is our nature. And I sure as hope to hell Skinner isn't saying that we stand together with all Democrats. There is a big difference between Democrats. Some, like Sen Specter smell a lot like republiCons.
