I'm so sorry that we just switched to Sanford and dropped coverage of Tehran. I don't get it.

I'm so sorry that we just switched to Sanford and dropped coverage of Tehran. I don't get it.
We've just experienced another convenient event that cleanses the news. The Iranian government is murdering these protestors - I guess we don't want to know. We find fun in endless posts on this guy whose name we will probably misspell in a few weeks. An man who will be referred to as -"yeah and do you remember the Governor from SC - what was his name" He will join Hyde and many so why spend so much time now?

Ignore this note if you haven't been following Tehran and Iran.

Education, DADT, DOMA and on and on! I just had a good laugh about a post from JACKEENS because of the absurdity of it all, but I was thinking earlier about the IRONY of it all!

Still, the GUY stepped into it BIG TIME, and given HOW PIOUS he was... it needed to be aired. And, I must say I almost felt bad for him because he handled it WORSE than I ever dreamed possible! And the emails were nothing short of sophomoric prose!!

I'm waiting to see what happens next - the iron fist has hit but I'm not sure what the next move is. I'm getting a little discouraged :(

Aside from it's horrible. People are being tortured, disappearing, beaten.

Yes, there were a ridiculous # of threads on Sanford, but there on Iran, too - # of threads rarely indicates the importance of an issue (in fact, often the opposite).

while ignoring his "bomb iran" comments. and demanding to knwo why Obama isn't doing enough without any dicussion of what Obama could/should do. and what would be the consequences.

pay attention to foreign media, they were reporting on this even before the elections and will continue doing a much better job than the whore media we have here who thinks it's more important to ask about how often Obama smokes than any questions about north korea.
