There were "only" 3000 killed on 9/11 - Why! That many will die in auto accidents...
So, what's the big deal? Why did we go to war for such a small number of casualties? That many people will die in automobile accidents. Isn't this the same argument that the right-wingers make about the 3000 troops that have been killed in Iraq?

1. Yes - there is also the "Thousands of Americans died on D-day in one day"
argument. We should be thankful about 3060 in three years.

2. This "pointless argument" appears in NJ editorials
Once in awhile some neocon will post something like this which is illogical. That's saying that 9-11 wasn't a big deal because everyone will eventually die anyway, only sooner. I hate this argument and I dare any warmonger to try and use it in public.
