Harry Shearer Riegns in Romney Rhetoric!
As far as M$M goes, I am really liking Harry Shearer!

I always watch the CBS Early Show while I'm drinking my morning coffee. Harry is obviously well-loved by his fellow ancors, but also by everyone he interviews. What really struck me was when he interviewed Mitt Romney re: Obama's latest statements about the election in Iran.

Mitt started by saying "it certainly wasn't a Reagan 'tear down this wall' moment".

Harry would have none of that. Immediately Harry firmly but politely said something to the effect of "Republicans have recently been making all kinds of irrelevant comparisons. When Reagan made that statement it was about a crumbling regime that was on it's last legs. Can you make a statement that is realistic?"

SMACKDOWN!

Unfortunately, Romney did manage to get in a lot of BS. But it was obvious that he was choosing his words carefully and that he knew many of them would come back to haunt him.

Harry Shearer may not be Keith O., But I think we will be hearing a lot more from him in the future. And I am LOVING it!

1. Harry Shearer is a true
Renaissance man. I mean, any guy that politically astute that he is a credible commentator, while being a member of Spinal Tap, is clearly gifted.

Mitt's such a tool, but right now, he's the Top Guy, isn't he, in the GOPig lineup for 2012?

I found this photo last night, when I was looking for a picture of Jenny Sanford, and here she is with - what? - her next husband (or is polygamy really forbidden to Mormons, for sure?)? Doesn't it just SCREAM for a caption?
