Luxury yachts offer pirate hunting cruises
Perhaps this is the way to deal with Somali pirates, and get a little R&R at the same time: a Russian luxury cruise line is offering wealthy customers the chance to hunt pirates!

Wealthy punters pay £3,500 per day to patrol the most dangerous waters in the world hoping to be attacked by raiders.

When attacked, they retaliate with grenade launchers, machine guns and rocket launchers, reports Austrian business paper Wirtschaftsblatt.

Passengers, who can pay an extra £5 a day for an AK-47 machine gun and £7 for 100 rounds of ammo, are also protected by a squad of ex special forces troops.

This might end the hijacking.

3. Could end the hijacking....or.....
....could end some rich pricks who want to waste more money in a day killing people who probably won't ever see that much in their whole lives.

All this is, is an excuse for the rich to feel like they can get away with killing. Why not just tie some hundred dollar bills to your pants and walk around a poor neighborhood with a hidden gun, waiting for someone to try and take your cash just so you can shoot them.

This repulses me.

4. A good way to deal with pirates? Sounds like a good way to deal with rich idiots
Let's organize some Taliban hunting trips next. That should be fun.

8. Wow! Another outlet for the keyboard warriors.
Head out on a fast, well-armed boat, accompanied by professional mercenaries and do battle with uneducated young men in slower boats who are not as well-armed.

And, if they get "buck" fever, the mercenaries can just blow up the pirates themselves.

Feh!

You want to fight? Join the Navy. Otherwise, stay in mom's basement, please.
