Sacramento's "Thriller" Co-Star Mourns Jackson

SACRAMENTO, CA - Actress Ola Ray stepped out of her south Sacramento home Thursday to remember the pop icon whom she co-starred with in the 1983 music video "Thriller."

"He was my hero, my mentor and legend," said Ola Ray.

Ray is still acting, but said her co-starring turn as Jackson's girlfriend in the 20-minute long video "Thriller" was the top of her career.

"I send my prayers and thoughts to Michael's parents Joe and Katherine," said Ray.

Ola Ray is now a stay-at-home mom. She spoke to News10 for only a few minutes about Jackon's death before becoming too emotional to continue.

Last month, Ray filed a lawsuit against Jackson to collect more royalties from "Thriller," which just celebrated its 25th release anniversary.

"On May 6, 2009 it was reported that Ray sued Jackson in a dispute over royalties for the Thriller video. However, it was also reported that Ray apologized to Jackson for erroneously believing that Jackson owed her money."
