Is Billy Bob Thornton a Democrat?
I saw him on Bill Maher, he sounds like a very decent fellow and completely different as a person from all of his characters (I know, an actor is not his characters, but usually there is some closeness, for instance Cameron Diaz the person and the characters are pretty similar).

I sort of agree with what he said about the pop scene behind inexistent after 78, because there are quite a lot of great bands after that, and I can name a few (don't get me started), which will be remembered in 100, but the reasons being that the media started creating their own stars, especially Disney.

I totally agreed with his view on smoking and pollution in general. The pussification of this nation never ceases to amaze me.

I thought Bill Maher was in major dick-sucking mode tonight (even with Diaz).

I mean Billy Bob has been in terrible movies lately (Mr Woodcock, Eagle Eye, School for Scoundrels, Alamo, Ice Harvest, Bad News Bear -Bad Santa as a minor league manager). Olive Stone has made some terrible movies as well (Alexander, World Trade Center, GWB -please, let's all agree it sucked).

6. No, I said Bad News Bear is bad
He just re-used his Bad Santa character for his version of Moneymaker. That's my opinion.

13. I lost a lot of respect for Stone's
work after I sat through that atrocity called Alexander. I really wanted to like it and love it but that movie nearly made me walk out of the theater. And I never walk out of money (throwing $10 bucks down the drain) especially during my college years when $10 bucks went a long ways.

7. I'm still trying to decipher
"...the pop scene behind inexistent after 78, because there are quite a lot of great bands after that, and I can name a few (don't get me started), which will be remembered in 100". Especially "behind inexistent after 78".

9. Sorry I am not a copyrighter
I did not re-read it before posting, I am not the type to read several times my own posts to bathe in their awesomeness, so please accept my apologies.

If you saw the piece on Bill Maher, you would know.

11. I thought Diaz needed to do something with that stringy hair of hers.
Between the guffaws and the hair in the eyes, her interview was annoying.
