I understand the hypocrisy here, but I also see people with their heads up their asses doing more to destroy both the credibility and future of their inept and corrupt party.

As the old saying goes...when your enemies are destroying themselves, don't get in the way. Sanford's ego is his real downfall. He should have resigned to spare himself and his family...not to mention the rushpublicans what is sure to be further humiliation. There's not just the sex question here...which I expect more to drip, drip, drip out...but also his derlicition of duty by hopping the plane to the Pampas and his misuse of state (and possibly federal) funds to cover up his affair.

If you notice, the more these hypocrites get stuck in their own mud, the more accepting and popular such issues as Gay Marriage become.
