Wireless Phone Scam: "Flycell"
I got my AT&T bill today and noticed a $19.99 charge for something called "flycell." That didn't ring a bell, so I called AT&T.

The operator informed me that this is a billing scam. Apparently, flycell sends you a text message by phishing number sequences. It you don't send a return "stop" text message, they sign you up for some monthly BS service and bill your phone bill. A quick internet search showed lots of complaints about this operation.

The operator told me that AT&T and a few other providers have banded together and are suing flycell for their scam. AT&T will credit the charge on my next statement.

Best be looking at your bill to see if they dinged you as well.
