2. He is incredible
It's pretty cold here. We drove through snow last night on the way here - in southern KS.

3. So did you get to chat? He's a great writer, he can spell!, and he's
pretty well known, judging from the sites I see him at. I'm so impressed and happy he was there; I like him even more!
And how's Cindy doing? And everyone? Is it muddy (yet)? I hope you're staying warm!

4. He was the first person I met when I got here
I haven't had much of a chance to talk to him yet. And yes, he is all over the net.

Cindy looks great - better than she did in August. No it isn't muddy. They are worried about sleet tomorrow.

We are having an Easter egg hunt at CC2 in the morning. We decorated the eggs tonight. :)

7. (Early) June would be better, if my garden weathers the cold this
weekend. My garden is my constant! You must have a laptop, and are in a cozy place, not a tent? I hope? Did I see another DUer in one of those pics, and she's the one who rarely posts? Or am I delusional?
And kick, dammit!

18. Try to join us in D.C.
At least four of us from the KC DU group are going to be at the Take Back America conference in D.C. It's a great conference. Last year the speakers included Obama, Feingold, Clinton (she got booed) and Kerry. Even if the speakers weren't there, the workshops would be worth it.

The Admiral listened to the messages yesterday but didn't say a thing. Last Supper? I haven't had time to make supper (or dinner for that matter) because I'm spending all my time looking for my Jesus doll. He's disappeared again.

On edit. I did give you a recommend earlier. ;)

24. Thanks for that recommend!
I called and left a message that I figured you had taken Jesus to the Last Supper, that's why you weren't home. :)

10. If you meet anyone from San Francisco, I NEED THEM
here: www.sfimpeachnow.com

We're presenting the SF office with petitions on 4/27, complete with press conference and a BLIMP sponsored by Impeach Bush-Cheney across the bay.

Nancy's office is making a big deal about only talking to constituents. Please send 'em over.

:hi:

11. Cindy speaks from her heart - and that's why I love her
I know that some have voiced objections to the things she has been saying, particularly when she has been critical of Democrats and the way they have handled themselves regarding the war in Iraq, but I just look at her as a mother speaking directly from her heart. She knows no political affiliations, shows no bias for one party or another. That much should be obvious to anyone who has ever listened to her. She is willing to support anyone who will speak out to support what she thinks is right. You might think it somewhat sappy, but it makes me think of my Mom. Shit, she'd run though a brick wall for me and boy do I miss her.

17. Thank you
Look at these faces.

Now look at these faces.

Maybe it's just the low level of caffeine in my system on an early Saturday morning, but when I look at the Camp Casey participants, I see the same people -- the same people -- who fought the same battles 35 years ago.

From this powerless side of the 49th parallel, I thank you for your endurance.
