My email to CNN regarding their global warming reporting today

Your reports today (Saturday) about global warming ignored what the overwhelming consensus of the scientific community believes. To only interview someone from a coal fired energy plant, whose income depends on ignoring global warming, without pointing out what the scientific community believes, was just plain irresponsible. I am assuming that CNN does not want to be known for irresponsible journalism.

Please be aware of the report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) that came out Friday. This panel consists of over 2500 scientists from over 100 countries and is considered the top world authority on climate change. These are not just a bunch of kooks. They have predicted with more than 90% certainty that global warming is being caused by human activity.

Am I glad I don't have cable so I'm not even tempted to watch CNN. When Turner had it, it was a better network than it is now.

..... and the people who buy those ads are oil companies, power companies,
coal companies, auto companies, and so on.

Hell, they are running an ad by drug makers saying what a great deal it is that
the seniors are getting screwed by the drug makers for their prescriptions.

Of the Military Industrial Complex. The only way to get rid of them if America stopped paying attention to them, they have a far bigger agenda than just advertising.

They are in the business of endless war, as is the pentagon.

why the corporate media is airing bogus reports such as the one on CNN. They can't allow the masses to realize how much up shit creek without a paddle we are at this point - it might be bad for bid'ness.
