but I first encountered the language of prosperity when I was in the third grade. Although I lived and went to school in Southern Indiana, we had a good number of students who evidently came from the hills of Kentucky and my third grade teacher always corrected spoken grammatical errors with--"Talk poor and you will remain poor."
It is a lesson that I took to heart. I have tried to pass it own to my own kids. It is something that I have observed as true throughout all my grown-up years. Maybe, Newty meant the same thing that my teacher did--without any of her natural grace.
As far as government's printing of documents in other languages--he's just dead wrong. Most people think best in their first language, if we want people to make informed decisions, we need to give them the tools to do that with and for many people that would be native tongue documents

but that does not negate his point. And I hate defending that Q-Tip head as well.

To discourage and/or enable not speaking English in the US is not helpful in any way, shape or form.

As much as I respect your concept, we do not own a shoe horn and I believe in lieu of me going out buying the shoe horn and sending it to Gingrich to make a point, my time and $ can be better spent. I hpe those who do have this and do not need them, follow through. I am afraid, knowing the cretin we are discussing, that these will simply add to the land fill without fulfilling your poignant action.
