Because you're all watching. So either turn it off or stop whining. :D

2. I am not watching tv, I learned about the MJ coverage by reading about it here on DU.
I plan on spending my TV time playing video games.

8. Turn on the TV and all you see MJ
Even if you are tuned out of the all Michael, all the time networks, you are bombarded with commercials advertising their ongoing coverage of Michael Jackson.

Go anywhere on the internet and you see something about him. It's insane the coverage this alleged pedophile gets.

10. I'm watching how pigmies in the Congo use the rain forest
to cure local illnesses and injuries by using plants from their habitat.
A group of doctors and reporters are following the local shaman around
to see if they work for a month. Some work, some don't

11. Not watching that freak show covered by the corporate media whores.
My husband is watching it and I heard one woman interviewed on CNN who said she sold everything in her house so she and her family could come to LA and 'see' Michael one last time. :wtf: Insanity.

Good grief. :eyes:

He was scheduled to go on tour.
The sitting President commented on his passing.
Many hundreds of thousands of 'fans' gathered.
Drugs were implicated in his death.
Graceland? Neverland.
Etc. etc. etc.

14. True that. Obviously MJ meant alot to many people in & outside the U.S.
regardless of some people's denial of his beloved superstar status.

I wish people would just STFU and let folks grieve one last time, tomorrow we'll be back to regularly scheduled programming.

13. Thank you for the sane post!!
Too many people here, who nonstop whine about the "corporate media", are the most loyal audience to them.
