VATICAN CITY (AP) Benedict XVI is urging people to pray that the Group of Eight summit in Italy is successful, especially in devising ways to help the world's poor.

He also referred to the encyclical he issued on Tuesday calling for a world financial order guided by ethics and the search for the common good.

Hate to interrupt the Jackson Funeral-llapalooza.. but just wanted to tell Mr. Pope that I too am praying for our economy.

I pray that Congress doesn't give the Bankers at Goldman Sachs another $700 Billion, and that the benevolent Bankers at Goldman see fit to let me have (at least) a minimum wage job sweeping the street ...so I may buy some groceries.

I know you will probably bring in sweepers from the Philippines for $1-an-hour to do all the jobs we Americans are un-willing to do.. but I just wanted to say that I have a Masters degree and I'm a real 'good' sweeper.

I can't afford a phone.. but if you need to contact me (about a job and all) I'm living in the Tent City under the freeway overpass.

Bless you Mr. Pope and Bless the Bankers....
