Just lock 'em out of the Senate/House chambers for the next two years and ignore them. They had their chance and they screwed up the country so bad that it will take years to straighten things out. As a result, they've forfeited their right to contribute to meaningful legislation now.
If there's a real need to involve them in anything, then let them spend the next 6 months drafting a resolution on Michael Jackson or something meaningless like that. But health care? No way.
