Levi Johnston: Palin wanted to do a reality show, her children were against it

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/07/13/johnston-says-palin-lost-his-vote/#more-60150

<snip>

He also said Palin wanted to do a reality show, though her children were against it.

"There was talk about it'd be nice to just take the money and run or do a reality show maybe or something easier," he said. "There was talk about it but us and the kids, we didn't want to do any of that."

Johnston, who himself has said he has received multiple offers for television shows, also said he thinks the Alaska governor markedly changed after her losing bid as the GOP vice presidential candidate.

"She wasn't as outgoing and I just didn't see the spark in her eyes about being the governor anymore," he said. "She became quiet, she would come home and just hang out in a room, you could tell something was wrong."

Declaring "fame got to her head," Johnston also said he would not vote for Palin after her latest actions.

1. She has a soap opera view of the world and this is just further proof
Not like any more proof was really necessary...

2. They would make the Kardashians look like socially conscious geniuses
In other words, millions of people would eat it up. I'm glad it's not going to happen.

5. To be fair that is not a surprise. Gore was reported widely to have a tough time with the "loss"
he put on a lot of weight and was out of sight for quite a while

6. Yeah but that was kinda different...
he didn't so much lose as had it taken from him... not that he fought for it.

McCain Palin were going down in flames for months before the big day... lots of time to deal with the foregone conclusion.

That said, I do see your point.

8. Gore had the election stolen away from him.
And he knew it. That would be enough to bother anyone.

But I'm sure in Palin's pathetic, sick little world, she feels somehow she had a right to be VP, even though she didn't even know what the job description was.

7. I thought she was already a "reality TV show"
 I guess she just considered getting paid for it.

9. Does anyone else get the feeling there's a certain class of people in the country...

...for whom geld is easily obtainable no matter what stupid things they say and do?

There was talk about it'd be nice to just take the money and run or do a reality show maybe or something easier

I mean, I'm in the processing of finding another job. I'm perusing vacancies and trying to figure out how to write my resume and coverletter to address the often-numerous asked-for qualifications. Then I read something like this and wonder how it is that these people just seemed to have the cash flow in...

That includes the George Bushes, Dick Cheneys, the GOP senators at the Sotomayer hearings, the media pundits like Pat Buchanan and that asshole on FOX who said we marry outside our species...etc. etc. etc. I mean, it can get rather depressing...

edited for spelling...

10. I will take anything Levi says with a grain of salt. To me, his remarks fall under
the category as "former, disgruntled employee". This is the teenaged, high school dropout, baby daddy of Bristol's child, after all. I just can't take his comments or opinion seriously.

13. He's in it for the money as well and it's just as transparent as it is with Sarah
Edited on Mon Jul-13-09 11:54 AM by Mike Daniels
Given that Levi only appears when Sarah does something "controversial" I wouldn't be shocked if this is all just "professional wrestling" in a different format.

Simply, Levi would have been more than happy to benefit from being the VP's son in law had McCain won the election.

Given that particular boat has left the dock he's now doing what he knows will get him the maximum exposure (trashing the woman that as recently as a couple of months ago he said he would still vote for if she ran in 2012).

Truth be told, I wouldn't blame Todd if he wanted to have a "sit down" ( a heart to heart chat in case anyone decides they want pervert "sit down" as "beat down") with Levi at this point.

14. If I was a teen I would NOT want to be on camera, whatsoever. Actually,
as an adult I would not want to either. I think Sarah cares about her children very little. Its only when there is a controversy about that that she "cares".
