to discuss with you an endangered species in America: the wealthy.

The wealthy have had to bear more than their fair share of the burden in supporting deadbeat poor people, sick people, and disabled people.

My husband's wise and much needed tax breaks for the wealthy have done little to relieve the strain of being rich. Why, I can name several people who have had to postpone redecorating their Palm Beach Estates due to the huge tax burden they must bear.

Poor Buffy won't get a new Bentley Convertible this year, and the one she has already has 4,000 miles on it! Why in no time it will be broken down and unreliable.

My good friend Muffy had to let one of her upstairs maids go. Now she only has 2 to do the entire upper floor of her mansion in Glen Cove.

It just rips my heart out to see my good friends suffer so.

So, I'm asking the Democrat leaders in Congress to reach across the aisle in a sense of bipartisanship and extend additional tax breaks to the wealthy. My husband and the Republican Party have demonstrated this many times over the years, always extending a hand to the Democrat Party, and now we ask for the same in return."
