Who do you trust?
Cronkite was "the most trusted man in America." He was a journalist, in the classic sense of that word. His listeners, readers and viewers trusted him to convey information unsullied by his personal views. He delivered naked fact, and if he approved of or agreed with the story or not, you still got the facts. And when he did give opinion, he was careful to note it as such and made it clearly distinct from the news.

Do you think that we have any journalists of that caliber today? We have countless pundits, but do we have journalists?

4. He was the last
of the true journalists.
The pundits repeat whatever the current party line is.
No one is interested in the truth/facts or so it seems.
Most want spoon-fed tripe,
the stuff that makes them feel good/secure about
whatever they believe.
Trust? No one in the media.
