... instead of Leon Panetta, as Dianne Feinstein had wanted?

The thought of that operation still going on now, without oversight, and perhaps with Cheney still pulling the strings on it is downright scary!

And if you add to that what Harman did to try and get an intelligence committee chairmanship (presumably to get into the "gang of eight" or other "benefits" like that), when she helped Gonzo "muzzle" the New York Times on the story of domestic spying before the 2004 election in exchange for AIPAC putting pressure on Pelosi to do that, I wouldn't put it past her to be bought off to cover this up too.

And its interesting how Porter Goss's name came up with that little controversy as well as this one now...

Though I've been critical of Obama on a lot of other issues lately, I want to tell him THANK YOU for picking Panetta over Harman in this case!
