On birthers, teabaggers and other assorted information-challenged people

Back in the beginnings of the "public" internet, certain academic pundits expressed concern that we would evolve into a society of information haves and have-nots. I think that we are seeing the realization of those pundits' fears.

The birthers are trying to get rid of Obama like they tried on Clintion! The Clinton sex scandal never happened! It was Newt who had the BJ!

The Looney GOP (Got 0 Plans) are trying to get rid of Obama!

Okay I should have said They Got 0 Plans, they have one plan, it is to try to get rid of Obama! They're purposely trying to make him fail and not care about this country leading into the right path under Obama! The GOP have screwed up Clinton from killing Osama bin Laden and lead us to 9/11 by railing on him about he Monica Sex scandal. Now these GOP are tying to hide their sex scandals by railing Obama with his Birth Certificate! This is just crazy!

I was just curious about what you guys think about the crazy GOP asking for Obama's Birth Certificate? And how come no one is questioning McCain's Birth Certificate? Also Why should Obama present a Birth Certificate, when Arnold, who is GOVERNOR of California, and who is not a natural US born citizen. Looks to me that the RULES apply when it comes to someone who is colored must show their Birth Certificate.

I found this the other day from this site http://forums.hannity.com/showthread.php?t=1006421 I found this to be very interesting, and these crazy GOP are asking for Obama's Birth Certificate! What is up with all of this crazy nonsense?!

This whole Obama Birth Certificate thing and Obama's unwillingness to release it (which to most (normal) people's satisfaction, he has) - brought about this discussion in a few other threads. I just find it curious why McCain felt the need to lie to people about his birth place.

John McCain has said he was born at the "CoCo Solo Family Hospital."
It should be noted, the CoCo Solo Hospital was not built until 1941.

In February, when this topic was being broached, a reporter from the Washington Post said this:

"As I reported earlier, the McCain campaign has declined to publicly release the senator's birth certificate. But a senior campaign official showed me a copy of his birth certificate issued by the "family hospital" in the Coco Solo submarine base."
(huh, declined?...but they showed ONLY the reporter a copy....hmmm (remind you of anyone??) (and CoCo Solo...huh?)

He continues: "The birth certificate was signed by Captain W. L. Irvine. I have now checked that name against the Naval Register for 1936, and I find that William Lorne Irvine was director of the medical facility at the submarine base hospital in Coco Solo, Panama Canal Zone."

Only submitted it to a 'web log' ? Which one, where? (another note that has an eerie parallel to you know who.) Anyone see this BC he submitted to a web log?

Colon is the capital of Colon Province in the Republic of Panama. Never at any time has Colon been a part of the Panama Canal Zone, or any other entity, military or civilian, controlled by the U.S. Government. Therefore Senator McCain was born in the Republic of Panama. Not on base.
