Mark Sanford and the Lemonade Stand
Sanford said he considered canceling the trip, but that his children had raised money to help pay for the excursion by selling lemonade.

http://www.thestate.com/local/story/873523.html

Sanford and his family are off to MONACO for 2 weeks. They should take a working vacation and help out in homeless shelters and with food banks now overwhelmed by double digit unemployment.

I would also like to see a picture of said lemonade stand. I actually have no doubt that he tried to make them earn some money. However, I would like to see where this entreprenurial effort was run just out of curiosity.

He also says he needs to get the kids away from the glare of publicity. Well, I wonder why there is a glare.

Sanford is so self-centered he doesn't even know how to govern. He is clueless because he is incapable of putting himself in other people's shoes. Everybody must look at things from his point of view because he is always right. That's how things work in Sanfordworld.

His salary should be stopped, and he should be sent a bill for the repairs he has neglected around the state.

2. if only he weren't the damned GOVERNOR of a STATE!! must be nice to just go off
and get away from it all after getting in trouble for going off and getting away from it all. If he would resign then he could spend all the time with his family he wanted and no one would care.

3. I can see kids trying to raise money to go to Disneyworld, but Monaco?
Maybe they're looking forward to gambling lessons with Daddy.

4. The really sad thing
is I KNOW his "reconciliation" with wife consists of him obsessively repeating every detail of his affair to her,
trying to get the wifey "to understand" while at the same time mentally masturbating whilst he talks about the other woman.
I have seen and heard the endless droning of self trance in many clients, who, whle supposedly
dicussing the "problem" sit with glazed eyes and re-live every moment aloud. Over and over and over.
At the first sign of this, wifey should pour a bucket of cold water over his head. Seriously.
